Cathy L. (King) Barr

Cathy (King) Barr, age 74, passed away on February 4, 2018.

 Born in Logansport on January 5, 1944, she was the daughter of Charles King and Georgine (Bonney) King. 

She was married to Roger G. Barr who passed away on June 6, 2015. 

She was a lifelong resident of Logansport, and attended Logansport High School.

Upon graduation she worked as a hair stylist for a number of years before selling real estate.  She then held the positions of purchasing agent and personnel officer at the First National Bank of Logansport before retiring.  Cathy was also an accomplished artist and certified “One Stroke” instructor and taught painting locally.

A descendant of the Miami Tribe of Nations, she enjoyed visiting Native American sites in Miami County with her family.

She is survived by her children, Kim Minichiello of Windermere, Florida, Eric Hunter, Logansport, grandchild, Alaina Minichiello and her beloved Siamese Cat, Sammy Lo. 

A memorial service will be a private ceremony with close family, and interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, next to her husband, Roger.
