Dustin Jay Reeser

Dustin Jay Reeser, age 25, Houston, Texas, formerly of Logansport, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017.

Born in Logansport on November 24, 1991, he was the son of John and Linda Bowman Reeser, who survive in Logansport.

Dustin was a former attendant officer at the Harris County Juvenile Facility and police officer for the Seabrook, Texas Police Department.

A 2010 graduate of Logansport High School, where he was active in basketball, baseball, and soccer.

He graduated from Indiana University in 2014 with a bachelor degree in criminal justice, and from the Alvin, Texas Police Academy in 2016.

Also surviving are brother, Jonathan (friend, Hailey Nguyen) Reeser, Indianapolis; sister, Andrea (Eric) Laymon, Logansport; nephew, Neal David Laymon, Logansport; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, May 22, 2017, in All Saints Catholic Church with Father Dominic Petan officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., on Sunday, May 21, 2017, at Kroeger Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Texas.
