John Phillip Scagnoli, age 73, Logansport, passed away at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, in Miller’s Merry Manor.

Born December 15, 1943, in Logansport, he was the son of Pacifico and Elizabeth “Betty” Carbone Scagnoli.

John was a 1961 graduate of Peru High School. Later, he was an avid Logansport High School Berries fan and a true Berry Booster. In over 20 years he did not miss one LHS home basketball game. He received the LHS “Spirit Stick” in 1991.

John had been employed at Peak Community Services.

Surviving are his brothers, Gary (Maryann) Scagnoli and Phil Scagnoli, both of Logansport; Nick (Julie) Scagnoli, Clarkston, MI; a sister, Marybeth (Rick) Siddall, Logansport; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 31st, at All Saints Catholic Church, with Father Dominic Petan officiating.

Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday in the Parish Hall at All Saints Catholic Church.

Entombment will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Kroeger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Betty Scagnoli Woodlawn Center Endowment in care of the Cass County Community Foundation, PO Box 441, All Saints Catholic Church 112 East Market Street, or the LHS Berry Boosters, One Berry Lane, all of Logansport 46947. Envelopes will be available at the church and funeral home.
