Mindy L. (Huff) Singley

Mindy L. Singley, 38, Logansport, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018, at 11:12 a.m. (CST), in the Cancer Treatment Center of America at Midwest Regional Medical Center, in Zion, Illinois.

On May 15, 1979, in Logansport, she was born to James and Connie Grace Huff.

On September 27, 2008, in Clearwater, Florida, she was married to Skip L. Singley, who survives.

Mindy was employed at Midwest Eye Consultants in Peru.

She was a philanthropist, and a compassionate and spiritual person, caring for others.  She enjoyed cooking, crafts, cosmetology, time with family, camping, hiking, and spending time on the beach.  She would often say to her husband, Skip, "when are we going to the beach?”.

Also surviving are her mother, Connie Grace, Logansport; father, James (Gail) Huff, Morgantown; sons, Sawyer Singley and Owen Singley; daughters, Everly Singley and Olivia Singley; brother, Jason (Jennifer) Huff, Logansport; sisters, Dana (Troy) Zimmerman, Melissa (Brad) Sommers, and Jennifer (Bryan) Kistler, all of Logansport; paternal grandfather, Ova Huff, Logansport; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceding her in death were maternal grandparents, O. E. (Peno) and Dorothy Grace; and paternal grandmother, Mary Huff.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at Kroeger Funeral Home.

The service will be at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, with Pastor Coenraad Brand officiating, also at Kroeger Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or to Riley Children’s Hospital.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
