Doreen Janet Randall-Freeman was born on July 30, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the youngest of four siblings. A brother, Phillip and a sister, Natalie preceded her in death.
The life of every party, she was funny and it was a joy to be in her presence.
Doreen had a love for children, music and helping people. That love exuded itself church as well as in whatever community she lived through her numerous acts of kindness.
Doreen made her transition from this life on Tuesday, January 19, 2016.
Left to celebrate her life and legacy is her loving husband, Mr. Joe Freeman, her mother Pastor Helen L. Patterson; her two sons; Elder Keabonda (Richawn) and Korie (Tequilla); two step-daughters; Joi and Ivory, one sister, Jacqueline Wimms; 13 grandchildren; Koron, Glory, Kiara, L'Koria, Z'Koria, Marshayla, Keachawn, Koreen, Melody, Korie II, Kotier and KorDenise, her life long friend Carol Bailey, and a host of relatives and friends.
The visitation for Doreen will be 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon, Saturday, January 30, 2016, at Kroeger Funeral Home, with the service immediately following at 12:00 Noon, also at the funeral home.
