Harlona Pearl ”Pat” Elpers, age 82, Logansport, passed away at 8:45 p.m. on Friday, December 23, 2016, in Miller’s Merry Manor.

Born December 9, 1934, in Breckenridge County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Ollie R. and Lillie A. Beauchamp Johnson.

On October 11, 1952, she was married to Edward O. Elpers, who preceded her in death on December 4, 2005.

Pat worked at RBM Manufacturing (Hamilton Standard, then United Technologies) for 42 years before retiring when the factory closed in 1994.

She was a member of the RBM Club and enjoyed working in her yard, tending her flowers, and feeding the birds.

Surviving are three daughters, Cynthia (Bill) Spoor, Joyce Todd and Jane (Ed) Campbell, all of Logansport; grandchildren, Eric (Jen) Spoor, Ashley (Kerry) McKnight, Shawn Todd, Britny Todd, Brett Campbell; and ten great grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Hewitt, Homer, Harold, Herbert, Hugh and sisters, Helois, Helen and Hazel, and grandson, Nicholas Spoor.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27th, at Kroeger Funeral Home.

The funeral service will follow visitation at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, also at the funeral home, with Pastor Carl Lendermon of Hillcrest Baptist Church officiating.

Full interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Pat’s memory to the Cass County Humane Society, 700 Water Street, Logansport, 46947.
