Judith L. “Judy” Gilsinger, 72, Logansport, passed away at 7:28 p.m., on Thursday, January 18, 2018, in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.

Born in Logansport on March 24, 1945, Judy was the daughter of the late George F. and Elizabeth Jane Carnahan Gilsinger.

A graduate of Logansport High School, Judy had been employed as head cashier at Standard Grocery Store until it closed. She was also a cashier at 14th Street Marsh, and at R & M Wholesale, and a part-time bookkeeper for Big A Auto Parts, all in Logansport.

Surviving are sisters, Carole Gilsinger, Logansport, and Susan Barefoot, Radcliff, Kentucky; nephew, George Barefoot, Louisville; niece, Mary Barefoot-Greiner (Jeff), Xenia, Ohio; grand-niece, Julia Barefoot, Louisville; and grand-nephews, Parker and Graysyn Greiner, Xenia.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.

A graveside service at Mount Hope Cemetery will be held at a later date.
