October 12, 1926 ~ December 21, 2016 (age 90) 90 Years OldJulia L. Host, age 90, Logansport, passed away at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, in her residence.
Born October 12, 1926, in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of Victor and Laura Sitter Host.
Julia graduated from Lafayette High School in Brooklyn. She earned a bachelor’s degree from City College of New York and a master’s degree from Columbia University.
She had been employed in New York City as the executive secretary for a promotional business.
Julia was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.
Surviving are a brother, Frank (Sheila) Host, Logansport; niece, Laureen (Greg) Budd, Brownsburg, nephews, Jim (Helen) Host, St. Louis and Rob Host, Indianapolis; great nieces and a great nephew, Abigail Host, Alison Host, Elizabeth Host, Sara Budd and Andrew Budd.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 23, 2016, in Kroeger Funeral Home, with Fr. Clayton Thompson officiating.
Visitation will be from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. also on Friday, at Kroeger Funeral Home.
