Marian Campbell, age 88, Logansport, passed away at 3:25 a.m. on Monday, July 11, 2016, at Miller’s Merry Manor.

Born May 17, 1928, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Ollie and Mary Glosser Baker.

On August 19, 1947, in Logansport, she was married to Robert Campbell, who preceded her in death on April 28, 2003.

Marian had been employed at Maiben’s Laundry, for 25 years at RBM Manufacturing and for 10 years in the dietary department at the Logansport State Hospital.

Marian was past president of the Logansport Eagles Ladies Auxiliary Aerie 323. She enjoyed watching her brothers (the Baker boys) play fast pitch softball. She also enjoyed watching football, basketball, wrestling, and any other sports her grandchildren and great grand-children participated in, including many dance recitals. But she was Nana to many children beyond her own grand-children and great grandchildren. She was also an avid Elvis fan.

Surviving are four daughters, Elizabeth (Carroll) Thomas, Vicki Brumett Price, all of Logansport, Deborah (Jim) Kelly, Rochester, and Susie (Bob) Reutebuch, Logansport; grandchildren, Doug (Terri) Thomas, Jason (Jacki) Brumett, Jeromey Brumett, Ann Michelle Webb, Dyan (Tom) Turley, Bob (Amber) Kelly, Ryan (Megan) Reutebuch and Erin (Joe) Reutebuch; twenty four great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding in death were seven brothers, Patrick, Carl, Richard, Elmer, William, Harold, Larry; three sisters, Mildred Tevis, Lucille Maloney and infant Mary.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and also from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. on Friday at Kroeger Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at Kroeger Funeral Home, with Rev. Dr. George Plasterer and Rev. Carolyn DeWitt officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
