Marie Yvonne Austin

Marie “Yvonne” Austin, age 76, Logansport, passed away at 12:12 a.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2017, in Chase Center.

 Born November 9, 1940, in Logansport, she was the daughter of James and Eunice Jones Noble.

 On February 21, 1970, in Las Vegas, she was married to Franklin E. Austin, who survives.

 A 1958 graduate of Logansport High School, Yvonne was also a graduate of the Kokomo School of Practical Nursing. She had been employed at Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru and Miller’s Merry Manor in Logansport.

Surviving are sons, Chuck Overmyer, Orlando, Bryce (Dawn) Overmyer, Elkhart, and Roy Austin, Logansport; daughters, Bethany Odom, Logansport, Christiana (Scott) Scull, Noblesville, and Nancy (Scott) Bailey, Logansport; eighteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

 A sister, Mary Ann Demsar, preceded her in death.

 Private family services will be held as Yvonne requested.

 Kroeger Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
