Mary Ellen Martin, age 87, Logansport, passed away at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 19, 2017, in Miller’s Merry Manor.
Born December 3, 1929, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Floyd and Faye Foster Bougher.
On November 9, 1974, in Logansport, she was married to Bobby E. Martin, who survives.
Mary retired in 1992 from the Logansport State Hospital.
A member of Main Street United Methodist Church, she was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary.
Mary enjoyed genealogy and family research. In her younger years she was a talented roller skater.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a sister, Barbara Clem, Logansport and a niece, Constance Clem (Mike) Ingram, Logansport.
A nephew, Robert Clem, Jr., preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Kroeger Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be performed at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at Galveston Cemetery, with Pastor Damon Soper officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
