Mary Susan Brown, age 65, Camden, passed away at 2:08 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, in her home.
Born in Logansport on June 30, 1952, she was the daughter of Thomas and Helen Murphy Brown, both of whom preceded her in death.
She was a resident of Carroll County her entire life and was a graduate of Carroll High School.
From her Purdue University graduation in 1975 until retirement in 2011, she was a rehabilitation therapist with Logansport State Hospital. She took pride in her work with patients and her relationships with professional colleagues. She also held a master’s degree from Indiana University.
Mary lived on the family homestead near Camden, and truly loved the farm. Over the years, she raised horses, ponies, and a variety of other animals. Her passion, however, was for raising Angus cattle. She established a great number of friendships among cattlemen.
Mary lived a full life with her many friends and family. She was a real outdoorswoman who loved fishing and just being in nature. She was a loyal Boilermaker and Green Bay Packers fan who enjoyed playing and watching sports her entire life.
