Peter D. Noakes

Peter D. Noakes, age 43, Logansport, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017, at 9:00 a.m., in his residence.

Born in Logansport, on December 15, 1973, he was the son of Timothy and Crystal Halterman Noakes, both of whom survive, residing in Logansport.

In May 17, 1997, in Logansport, he was married to Trina Harding, who also survives.

A 1992 graduate of Logansport High School, Peter obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University, Kokomo, where he had been in the choir.

He was active in Civic Players of Logansport, both on stage and behind the scenes.  He had been a member of the Society of Creative Anachronism and the International Thespian Society.

Surviving are brothers, Joseph (Lucinda) Noakes, Lafayette, and William (Erin) Noakes, Lake Cicott; nieces, Abigail Noakes and Isabelle Noakes; and nephews, Ian Noakes and Gabriel Noakes.

Also surviving are a mother-in-law, Donna (Steve) Schaeffer, Burlington; brother-in-law, Scott Harding, Norfolk, VA; grandfather, Lewis (Shirley) Halterman, Peru; many aunts, uncles and cousins, including adopted nieces and nephews, Sophia Quigney and Vincent, Isaac and Emma Montgomery.

His grandparents, Walter and Zula Noakes and Jean Halterman preceded him in death.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at Vineyard Community Church, 715 East Broadway, with Pastor Bruce Vernon officiating.

Family and friends may visit with the family at the church from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., also on Wednesday.
