Shirley Ann Hudson, age 81, Logansport, passed away at 10:10 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2016, in Creekside Village, Mishawaka.
Born March 24, 1935, in Logansport, she was the daughter of John Joseph and Gertrude Rose Sales Murphy.
On August 16, 1957, in Maywood, Calif., she was married to Fred Warren Hudson, who survives.
A homemaker, Shirley was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, is a son, Gary (Alice) Hudson, Mishawaka; brother, Tom Murphy, Tenn.; grandchildren, Katie (Nick) Burton, Lauren (Patrick) Stalvey, Ryan Hudson; great grandchildren, Jude, Lucy, Josie, and Gabe Burton, Addison Kerwood and Oliver Stalvey, all of Mishawaka.
A son, Jeffrey Hudson, brother, John Murphy and sister, Elaine Gerlach, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 31st, at Kroeger Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, also at the funeral home, with Fr. Dominic Petan officiating.
Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
