Brian Scott Jones

Brian Scott Jones, age 58, Logansport, passed away at 3:30 a.m. on Friday, November 1, 2019, after a long battle with cancer.

Born July 28, 1961, in Logansport, he was the son of Richard P. and Clara M. Vitello Jones. His mother survives, residing in Logansport.

Brian had been warehouse manager at the Logansport Sears store until it closed.

A 1979 graduate of Logansport High School, for years he was a die-hard Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Pacers and University of Notre Dame fan. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandson, Xzavier.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a daughter, Emily Jones, Logansport; brother, Richard Jones II, Logansport; sister, Susan (Melvis, Jr.) Hicks, Galveston; and grandson, Xzavier Jones.

Also surviving are a niece, Jacqlyn (Dakota) Sprague; nephews, Jason (Deanna) Reppert, Justin Hicks and a great nephew, Christopher Reppert.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, Richard P. Jones and a brother, Danny Reppert.

Friends may greet the family from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at Kroeger Funeral Home.
