Patricia Ann "Pat" Rozzi Obituary

Patricia Ann “Pat” Rozzi, 81, of Logansport, passed away peacefully at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2018 in her residence.

Born August 15, 1937 in Royal Center, she was the daughter of the late Clifford F. and Margaret E. (Henderson) Schroder.

On June 16, 1956, in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Msgr. John P. Schall officiated her marriage to Rocco D. Rozzi. He preceded her in death on November 14, 1987.

Pat treasured the times she spent with her children and grandchildren. She attended most of their activities and was their greatest supporter.

She retired from the Logansport Public School Corporation in 2004 where she worked as a teacher’s aide for many appreciative teachers and students. She also worked at the Burger Dairy store for years selling deli to the neighborhood and candy to their children.

Pat was a 1955 graduate of Royal Center High School, a member of All Saints Catholic Church, a member of the Italian American Club, a 46-year member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority, and a volunteer for the Mary Dykeman Guild.

Patricia is survived by her children:  Margaret “Peggy” (Dean) Berry of Royal Center, Salvatore "Tony" Rozzi of Allentown, PA, and Kimberly (Michael) Bowen of Logansport; one brother Charles Schroder of Royal Center; grandchildren Scot (Sharlie) Berry of Atwood, IL, Emma Bowen, Elijah Bowen both of Logansport, and Rocco Rozzi of Allentown, PA; two step-grandchildren Amanda Kennedy and Jennifer Williams, both of Hartshorn, MO;  two great-grandchildren Anden and Adlee Berry of Atwood, IL.

She was also preceded in death by eight brothers John, William, Donald, Thomas, James, Ralph, David, and Steven Schroder. Pat held her own growing up with nine brothers while being the only daughter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018 at All Saints Catholic Church in Logansport with Father Jeffrey Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Logansport.

Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2018 in the Kroeger Funeral Home.
