Dawn C. (Hathaway) Downham

Dawn C. Downham, Logansport, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Parkview Logansport Hospital.

She was born August 27, 1953, to Donald and Carlene Hathaway, who both preceded her in death. Also preceding in death were a son, David “D.G.” Downham; and brother, Scott Hathaway.

Surviving are daughters, Cassie Looker (Westley R., Sr.) and Melissa Kaicy (Frank); grandchildren, Robbie, Bobbiejo, D.J., Amaya, Landyn and Ali Looker, Lucas Sims, Gaderian Heald (Danea), Gabe Downham, Sebastian and Kyra Kaicy; great grandchildren, Mirah and Daphne Looker, Delsin Heald and Elias Edwards.

Also surviving are brothers, Jack Hathaway and Ted Hathaway (Kelly), with many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Dawn enjoyed reading and collecting turtles. She was a member of Cross-Wind United Methodist Church and Triple S Bible Study.

A 1971 graduate of Logansport High School, she had been a teachers’ aide at Fairview Elementary School.

The funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Friday, March 20, at Cross-Wind United Methodist Church. Rev. Tim Powers will officiate at the service.

Visitation and gathering of friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, also at the church.
