Mary E. DeInnocentes, age 88, Logansport, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021, in her residence.
She was born March 2, 1932, in Allentown, Pennsylvania to Patrick and Gertrude Schmidt McFadden.
Mary was married to Dr. Louis DeInnocentes, who preceded her in death in 1999.
Mary earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University, Washington, DC. She had been employed at Children’s Hospital in Washington, DC and Kings County Brooklyn, New York. In Logansport she worked at Camelot Care Center and Miller’s Merry Manor.
She enjoyed cooking, flowers, knitting, scrap-booking and crafts.
She loved horse showing competitions and truly enjoyed spending the day with horses. She also was very involved with All Saints church and school activities.
Especially, she enjoyed her grandchildren and their activities.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Ann DeInnocentes, Logansport, and Patricia DeInnocentes-Thomas, Alabama; granddaughters, Sara DeInnocentes and Kiara DeInnocentes; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 18th at All Saints Catholic Church with Fr. Gustavo Lopez officiating.
Friends may greet the family from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the All Saints Parish Hall.
The family requests that contributions may be made for Masses or Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
