Alleen Pierce Obituary

Alleen J. Pierce, age 88, Logansport, originally of Chicago, passed away at 6:12 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018, in Swedish Covenant Hospital, Chicago.

Born May 30, 1930, in Chicago, she was the daughter of John M. and Agnes Theresa Plotke Ficht.

On August 10, 1963, in Chicago, she was married to Robert Pierce, who preceded her in death on June 16, 1996.

Also preceding in death were her parents; twin sister, Alvora Cleffmen, three brothers, James M. Ficht, Robert Ficht, John M. Ficht, Jr., and sister-in-law, Jackie Dexter.

Surviving are a son, Michael R. (Katherine) Pierce; granddaughter, Keanna Pierce; grandson, Robert Pierce, all of Chicago.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at Kroeger Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. following visitation, with Rev. Jim Zimmerman officiating.

Interment will be on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. (CDT) in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights, Illinois.
