Dora A. Morgan

Dora A. Morgan, age 94, Logansport, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at her residence.

Born July 27, 1923, in Brown County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Clarence and Zona Sturgeon Ault.

On September 11, 1943, in Logansport, she married Raymond Morgan, who preceded her in death on November 3, 2013.

Many years ago Dora had been employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad as a crossing guard at 18th Street. She had also worked for Chadwick Wholesale and J. C. Penney in downtown Logansport. She enjoyed reading and listening to music. She especially she loved her beagle, Cody.

Surviving are two sons, Jack L. (Lois) Morgan and Terry W. (Pat) Morgan, all of Logansport; one sister, Dorrie (Kenny) Michaels, Brown County; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.  Granddaughter, Tammy Goldsberry and her husband, Christopher, of Walton, also survive.

A son, Michael Morgan, and several brothers and several sisters preceded her in death.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 11, 2017, in the Chapel at Mount Hope Cemetery, with burial immediately following. Rev. Damon Soper will officiate.
