Eldona L. Fox

Eldona L. Fox, 76, Logansport, passed away at 12:59 a.m., on Thursday, May 3, 2018, in WoodBridge Health Campus.

Born in Cass County on May 11, 1941, she was the daughter of Eldon Unger and Helen Lewis Unger Abshire.

On June 29, 1963, in St. Vincent’s Catholic Church in Logansport, she was married to Donald L. Fox, who survives, in Logansport.

A homemaker, Eldona was retired from T. M. Morris Manufacturing, after eight years of employment.

She had been a volunteer at Memorial Hospital and enjoyed bowling and listening to country music.

Eldona was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, All Saints Ladies Society, and The Secular Franciscan Order.

Also surviving are four sons, Stephen, Brian, and Gary (Mary) Fox, all of Logansport, and Timothy (Karen) Fox, Indianapolis; grandchildren, Matthew and Michelle, Indianapolis; and sister, Rosalie Reed, Grissom.

Preceding Eldona in death were her parents, Eldon Unger and Helen Lewis Unger Abshire, and a sister, Normalou Ashby.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, May 7, 2018, at All Saints Catholic, Church, with Fr. Dominic Petan officiating.

Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Sunday, May 6, 2018, at Kroeger Funeral Home, where a Secular Franciscan Wake Service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m.

Visitation will also be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Monday at the church. 

Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
