Francis Fettig Obituary

Francis J. Fettig, age 89, Logansport, passed away at 4:00 a.m. on Friday, August 24, 2018, in WoodBridge Health Campus, Logansport.

Born December 16, 1928, in Logansport, he was the son of John and Dorothy Ulrick Fettig.

On August 10, 1982, in Logansport, he was married to Rosemarie Walas, who survives, residing in Logansport.

Francis retired from White-Rodgers after forty-five years of employment as a supervisor.

Francis served in the United States Army, 101st Airborne Division. He was a member of the American Legion Post 60.

He enjoyed the Chess Club, roller skating, ballroom dancing and fishing. He also belonged to the Kokomo Senior Center and attended the Logansport Senior Center with his wife

He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church

Francis loved his children and especially his wife.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his children, Michael Fettig, Mesa, AZ, Susan Baker, Zephyrhills, FL, Timothy Fettig, Austin, TX, and Linda Ward, Deek Creek. Also surviving are a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Preceding in death are a son, Robert Fettig, siblings, ElVera Riehle, Fred Fettig, Marjorie Crain, John Fettig and Richard Fettig.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at Kroeger Funeral Home.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday at All Saints Catholic Church with Fr. Jeff Martin officiating.

Interment with full military honors will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Deer Creek.
