George B. Zea

George B. Zea, age 58, Logansport, passed away at 12:19 a.m. on Friday, August 17, 2018, in his residence.

Born in Hammond on August 10, 1960, he was the son of Lawrence and Clara M. Zea, both of whom preceded him in death.

George was a resident of a Cardinal Services group home. He was a people watcher and was known as the “house greeter” where he shook hands with everyone. He enjoyed fishing and water and played tambourine in the Woodlawn Center band.

Two brothers survive, Larry Zea of Warsaw and Jerry Zea of Evansville. Also surviving are a number of friends from group-home get togethers as well as the staff who cared for him. He will be missed.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at Kroeger Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., also on Tuesday with Pastor Todd Wilson officiating.

Interment in Ever-Rest Memorial Park will follow the service.
