Gregory D. Collins

Gregory D. Collins, age 56, Young America, passed away at 2:14 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017, in his residence.

Born in Logansport August 10, 1960, he was the son of Steven David “Dave” and Romona Collins. His father and step-mother, Dave and Elaine Collins survive, residing in Logansport. His mother Romona and her husband, Tom Knepper, survive, residing in Logansport.

Also surviving are sons, Cory (Tara) Collins, Walton, Josh (Tonya) Collins, and Kevin Collins, all of Peru; brothers, Jeff (Deb) Collins, Todd (Anna) Cripe, all of Young America, Kirk Collins, Logansport, David (Aimee) Collins, Cincinnati, Ryan (Danah) Collins, Walton and Zach (Keira) Collins, Mentone; sister, Angie (Bob) Anders, Logansport, and half-brother, Tommy (Barb) Knepper, Kokomo.

Also surviving are grandchildren, Bailey, Kendyl and Addyson Collins, and step grandchildren, Kayla, Brandon and Jacob Van Horn; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Greg enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping and playing poker. He was a fan of IU Basketball and the Chicago Cubs. Most especially he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

A Memorial Visitation and Celebration of Greg’s Life will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2017, at Kroeger Funeral Home.
