Joyce R. Tierney, age 90, Logansport, passed away at 1:14 p.m. on Sunday, November 5, 2017, in McKinney Place.

Born December 7, 1926, in Topeka, Ind., she was the daughter of William and Goldie Garber Oesch.

On December 26, 1948, in Ligonier, she was married to John P. Tierney who preceded her in death on December 28, 2002.

Surviving are sons, Mike (JoAnn) Tierney, Sugar Grove, Ill., Pat (Kelly) Tierney, Tom (Bobbi) Tierney, Tim (Beth) Tierney, all of Logansport, and Jim (Karol) Tierney, Carmel; sisters, Gloria Mynhier, Wolcottville, and Laverne Hartzler (Everett) Moon, Twelve Mile.

Also, surviving are grandchildren, Maggie Tierney (Juan Velaquez), Libby (Bjorn) Bolling, Ross Tierney, Matt Tierney, Tara Tierney, Jonathon Tierney, Nate (Kristin) Conner, Dan Tierney, Jennifer Tierney, Mitchell Tierney and Megan Tierney; great grandchildren, Emma Conner, Brenden Conner, Logan Conner, Kaydan Berkshire and Mikey Velaquez; several nieces and nephews.

Joyce was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Joyce was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, All Saints Ladies Society, and the Daughters of Isabella. Above all she enjoyed her grandchildren.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2017, at All Saints Catholic Church, with Fr. Dominic Petan officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at Kroeger Funeral Home.

Interment will be in the Mount Calvary section of Mount Hope Cemetery.
