Mallory B. Cameron, age 30, Rochester, formerly of Logansport, passed away Friday, December 1, 2017, in Rochester.

Born January 31, 1987, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Donald and Jody Parker Cameron. They survive, residing in Rochester.

Mallory attended Landis, Franklin, Columbia and Lincoln schools in Logansport. She also attended Rochester Middle School and was a 2005 graduate of Rochester High School. At Columbia School in Logansport she was on the speech and debate team, specializing in humorous interpretation.

Mallory was Fulton County 4-H Fair Queen and 2003 Indiana State Fair “Miss Congeniality”. She was also high school homecoming “Powder Puff Champion”, a humorous “award” that didn't really exist. She was known as a “lifelong cheerleader”.

She then attended Indiana University, Bloomington, graduating with a degree in Communications. Mallory was a proud member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority at IU.

Later she volunteered at the Muncie Animal Shelter and loved golden retrievers.

Mallory was a serious music aficionado and enjoyed music from the 1970’s to now and was always discovering new bands. She loved water sports and hiking in Colorado.

Mallory was a true free-spirit and a very warm-hearted person. She could light up a room as soon as she walked in, with her beautiful smile and that infectious trademark laugh.

She held the position of seminar marketing for her father's financial business.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Shane Cameron, Fishers; maternal grandparents, Suzanne Parker and Larry Parker; aunts and uncles, Diane and Richard Franklin, Brenda and John Field, Missy and John Shively, Cathi and Paul Roy, Celia and Shannon Jones, Jane and Harold Anthrop; and several cousins.

Preceding her in death were paternal grandparents, Betty and Lewis Cameron and aunt, Jenny Bauman.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 8, 2017, at Kroeger Funeral Home.

Private interment for family only will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
