Mark Miller

Mark S. Miller, age 60, Logansport, passed away at 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2017, in his residence.

Born in Logansport on October 14, 1956, he was the son of Dale and Carolyn Sue Sholty Miller. His father survives, residing in Logansport.

A 1975 graduate of Logansport High School, Mark was a business partner with his father, operating the Rendezvous and Déjà Vu in downtown Logansport.

Golfing was Mark’s passion. Following graduation from high school he moved to Boca Raton, Florida, where he was caddy master at the Boca Raton Hotel and Club.

Returning to Logansport, Mark was a member of the Logansport Golf Club for many years, where he was Club champion several times.

He played in several semi-professional tournaments and tried out for some PGA tours.

He was also champion in various dart leagues and pool leagues.

Surviving are his father, Dale Miller, Logansport; children, Meghan Miller, and twins Angela Miller and Austin Miller, and their mother, Kimberly Lyn Miller, all of Logansport; and sister, Karla (Jerry) Thomas, Alpharetta, Georgia.

Also surviving are nephews, Scott Thomas and Kyle Thomas; great nephew, Tristan Thomas, all of Alpharetta; aunt, June Hinkle, Logansport; and several cousins.

Preceding in death were his mother, Carolyn Sue Sholty Miller; sisters, Patricia Dale Miller and Cynthia K. Miller; uncles, George F. “Buzz” Sholty, Charles R. “Bud” Sholty, and Paul Miller; and aunts, Helen Shaff and Betty Coffman.

The funeral service and celebration of Mark’s life will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Kroeger Funeral Home.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., also at Kroeger Funeral Home.
