Mary K. (Sundy) Bessignano

Mary K. Bessignano, age 108, Sun City Center, Florida, formerly of Logansport and Anderson, passed away in Friday, March 22, 2019, in Belvedere Commons, Sun City Center.

Born September 13, 1910, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Michael and Angeline Cappoli Sundy.

On July 24, 1939, she was married to Dominic A. Bessignano, who preceded her in death on February 1, 1996.

In Logansport, Mary had been a member of All Saints Catholic Church and All Saints Ladies Society. For 35 years she was a Gray Lady at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Logansport.

Mary was a member of the William Paca Lodge, Sons of Italy in America.

Surviving are a son, Donald (Linda) Bessignano, Sun City Center, FL; grandsons, Brian (Christie) Bessignano and their daughter, Maya, all of Denver, CO and Kevin (Carrie) Bessignano, Fishers, IN; sisters, Addie Perrone, Logansport and Lucy Griffith, Fort Thomas, Kentucky.

Three brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at All Saints Catholic Church.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon, prior to the Funeral Mass, in the Parish Hall at All Saints.

Interment will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.
