Patrick W. Tierney

Patrick W. Tierney, age 62, Logansport, passed away at 4:11 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.

Born February 12, 1956, in Logansport, he was the son of John P. and Joyce R. Oesch Tierney.

He was married on June 19, 1981, in Logansport, to Kelly Selvio, who survives.

Pat had been proprietor at Tierney Industrial Warehouse.

A 1974 graduate of Logansport High School, Pat attended Purdue University.

He was a former member of the Logansport Morning Kiwanis Club and served on the board of the Logansport Economic Development Foundation.

He was a former member and past president of, and active in, the Cass County Youth Football League. He enjoyed coaching youth soccer and Little League Baseball, as well as football. He belonged to the Franklin College Touchdown Club.

Pat was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 561 and All Saints Catholic Church.

His beloved grand-dogs, Zoey and Lucy, survive.

Surviving are sons, Matt Tierney, Logansport, and Ross Tierney, Carmel; brothers, Mike (JoAnn) Tierney, Sugar Grove, Ill., Tom (Bobbi) Tierney, Logansport, Tim (Beth) Tierney, Logansport and Jim (Karol) Tierney, Carmel.

Also surviving are his mother-in-law, Susie Selvio, Logansport, and sister-in-law, Joni (Tim) Lambert, Logansport; nieces, nephews and cousins.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at All Saints Catholic Church, with Fr. Dominic Petan officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018, at Kroeger Funeral Home.

Interment will be in the Mount Calvary section of Mount Hope Cemetery.
