Swayzee Allianna Hite

Swayzee Allianna Hite, 3 years, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, following a family tragedy in her residence.

Born in Logansport on May 27, 2015, she was the daughter of Daniel Owen Hite and Brandi Lynn Vail, both of whom are deceased.

Swayzee was a smart little girl for her age, who always told everyone she loved them, including their doggy and the new puppies. She loved playing outdoors with her sister Rhylie, doing things as simple as chalk on the sidewalk. Like her sister, 'Sponge Bob Square Pants' would stop them in their tracks while keeping them attentive and quiet. Swayzee enjoyed being with cousin, Kyla, because she was silly with them. Kyla would do their hair, make up, nails, and doing girlie stuff that always included the silly snap chat filters, also knowing older sister, Mikaela, would be there with all the fun. She also enjoyed shopping for toys with Aunt Jessica from her own toy box. She loved going to Aunt Ica’s as well, and would always say “that’s my Ica”. Swayzee loved her siblings and was known to help her mommy cook and do the dishes; maybe it was just the soap suds--just like taking a bath.

Survivors include maternal grandmother, Sheila Huddleston and maternal grandfather, Paul M. Vail, both of Logansport; sister, Mikaela Sanchez, Logansport; paternal grandmother, Debra (Carl) Auten, Walton; paternal grandfather, Curtis (Lisa) Hite, Flora, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Deceased family members also include brother, Marshall Owen Hite; sister, Rhylie Hite.

 The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, December 6, 2018, at LifeGate Church, 831 Burlington Avenue, Logansport, with Rev. Ken Smith and Rev. Bruce Russell officiating.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. at LifeGate Church in Logansport. Visitation will also be from 9:30 to 11:00 on Thursday, prior to the service. 

Those wishing to assist this family as they face the future may make a donation payable to Sheila Huddleston through the funeral home. Contributions will not go toward funeral home expenses - the services have been donated by the funeral home. Envelopes will be available at the church.
