Thomas J. Cappoli, 68, formerly of Logansport, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, in Colquitt Regional Medical Center in Moultrie, Georgia.
Born in Logansport on August 12, 1949, he was the son of August T. and Rosemary Lloyd Cappoli, both of whom preceded him death.
A veteran of the United States Army, Tom retired in October, 2017, as the manager of Big Lots in Valdosta, Georgia. He enjoyed sports, especially hockey.
Surviving are sons, Augie (Kirstin) Cappoli, Alexandria, Virg., Michael (Jennifer) Cappoli, Swayzee, and Charlie (Amy) Cappoli, Penn.; daughters, Amber (Jay) Fritsch, Kokomo, and Stacy (Nathan) Allen, Lafayette; sisters, Patty Rogers, Kokomo, Pam (Jr.) Rhoton, Odon, and Sue (Don) Baker, Carmel; ten grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by brother, Michael Cappoli, sister, Barbara Cappoli, and nephew, Willie Rhoton.
A military graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., on Friday, February 9, 2018, in the Mount Calvary section of Mount Hope Cemetery.
Family and friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., at Kroeger Funeral Home, also on Friday.
