Wilbur "Dean" Larimore, 79, Logansport, passed away at 10:52 am Saturday, June 10, 2017 in Aperion Care Center of Peru, Indiana, in the company of family members. 

Born October 31, 1937 at Evansville Memorial Hospital in Vanderburgh County, he was the only son of Wayne and Louvnia Larimore. The family moved to Orange County outside of Orleans, Indiana, early in his life before making their way to Logansport.   

After graduating from Logansport High School on June 3, 1955, he joined the Air Force in September of that same year and served as an Airman First Class until his Honorable Discharge on July 28, 1959. 

He married June (Williamson) on April 29, 1961 in Logansport. June preceded him in death on April 19, 2012.

Dean retired from ESSROC, formerly Louisville Cement, in Clymers on February 1, 2000.

He has two children both of whom survive; son, Rick (Rhonda) Larimore and daughter, Deb (John) Wickersham all of Logansport; grandchildren, Clinton (Anne) Bohm, Whitestown, Josh Bohm, Denver, Colorado, Samuel Garling and Joseph Garling, both of Logansport, and Ryan King, Clymers; great grandchildren, Ryan Bohm, Thomas Bohm and James Bohm of Whitestown; Zavier Garling and Micah Garling, Logansport.  

Dean enjoyed walks with his wife June, watching old westerns, hunting, fishing, and visits from all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a loving and faithful husband.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Kroeger Funeral Home with the Rev. Adam Speicher officiating. 

Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Cass County, with full military honors.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m Tuesday at the funeral home.
