UPDATE: The interment of Auden's ashes will be on Monday, December 3, 2018, at 1:00 p.m., at Mount Hope Cemetery. Please meet near the chapel.

Auden Wayne Myers, age 16, Logansport, passed away at 3:11 a.m. on Sunday, November 18, 2018, in St. Vincent Kokomo Hospital, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on US 35 in Howard County.

Born July 17, 2002, in Logansport, he was the son of Jeffery W. Myers and Eva Groover, both of Logansport.

Auden was a junior at Logansport High School. His passion was baseball and he played on the LHS varsity baseball team. He had played baseball since grade school.

He also loved to fish and hang out with his family and friends. His two best friends were Jacob Kaley and Uriah Riemenschneider.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, is Audie’s sister and best friend, Jazmen Myers.

Also surviving are a maternal grandmother, Terry Groover, Kokomo; paternal grandmother, Nikola Myers, Logansport and paternal grandfather, Kendall Kerschner, Peru; paternal great grandmother, Dorothy Kerschner, Logansport; aunts and uncles, Kiley Groover, Perry and Tara Groover, Stephanie and Junior Powe, Kevin Myers and Amy Brannick, Jodie and Anthony Pittman, and Uncle Weasel; cousins, Blake Myers, Brock Myers, Tyler Pittman, Ella Pittman, Brayden Pittman, Tinelle Groover, Maekaylea Groover, Taelynn Powe, D’Vonta Jones, Kyler Groover and P. D. Groover.

Preceding in death are a maternal grandfather, Perry Groover, uncle, Keith Kerschner, and cousin, Colvin Groover.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at Kroeger Funeral Home.

The funeral service and celebration of Audie’s life will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 26, 2018, at Cross-Wind United Methodist Church, with visitation at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. prior to the funeral. Kelly Spencer will officiate.

Interment will be later, with the date and time to be announced.

Auden’s family wishes to express sincere and heartfelt gratitude for the tremendous outpouring of support and sympathy they have received from the community.
