Beverly Ann Joy

Beverly Ann Joy, age 87, formerly of Logansport, passed away at 10:42 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021, in Traditions of Brookside, McCordsville, Indiana.

Born July 4, 1934, in Skowhegan, Maine, she was the daughter of Edith Hodgkins.

On March 3, 1952, in Harrington, Maine, she was married to Ralph L. Joy, Jr., who preceded her in death on August 6, 2004.

Bev had been employed as a bookkeeper at Dexter Pharmacy, Bailey’s Clothing store and Sentiments Cards and Gifts.

She was a member of Walton Christian Church and, most recently, Cyntheanne Christian Church in Fishers. Bev’s focus in life was her family, friends, and especially her great grandchildren, the light of her life.

Surviving are a granddaughter, Lisa (Rocky) Valadez, Fishers; great-grandchildren, Lily, Gabe and Rafe Valadez; son-in-law, Dave Turnpaugh, Indianapolis.

Visitation is from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 4th, at Walton Christian Church.

The Funeral Service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, also at the church, with Brother Bill Collins officiating.

Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Cass County .

Memorial contributions may be made either to Walton Christian Church or Cyntheanne Christian Church. Envelopes will be available during visitation at the Church.
