Cassandra Rose (Bingaman) Newton

Cassandra “Rose” Newton, age 45, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday July 24, 2023, at 5:31 pm. after an extended illness. Born November 22, 1977, in Logansport, she was the daughter of John W. & Charlotte J. (Fulkerson)Bingaman of Lafayette, IN who both survive.

Rose was married to John T. Newton on March 14, 1998 of Logansport who survives. Surviving in addition to her husband are her son, Gavin A. Newton, Kokomo; Abigail R.B. Racob, Logansport; Olivia M. Newton, Lafayette.  One Brother, John W. Bingaman (Gabrielle), Logansport and two sisters, Bridget I Enyeart (Kevin) Enyeart, Angela J. Rush (Matt) and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Rose was a 1996 Logansport High School Graduate. She obtained her LPN from Ivy Tech State College in 2008 and her RN in 2009.  She obtained her Bachelor’s of Sciences and Nursing at IUK on May 6, 2016. Rose was employed at Logansport State Hospital/State of Indiana for the last 13 years. She loved her patients and took pride in being a patient advocate and providing her patients with great patient care.

Rose enjoyed reading, painting, crafting, spending time with her nieces and nephews, cooking, listening to music, thrifting/antiquing with family.  She was an avid animal lover.

A private celebration of life with family will be held per Rose’s wishes.

A private memorial burial will be held later.
