Mr. Charles Stephen "Steve" Long, age 71 of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 26, 2022, in his residence.
Steve was born July 31, 1950, in Logansport, the son of the late Lowell Long and Mary Bennett Long.
He was a retired salesman and of the Lutheran Faith. Mr. Long enjoyed woodworking and aviation in his younger years. A 1968 graduate of Logansport High School, he was a veteran, having served in the Army as a helicopter pilot.
Survivors include his children, Lowell Robert “Robbie” Long, Carrollton, Stephenie Long, Sebring, FL, Bryce Roth, Cincinnati, OH, Eran Roth, Huntsville, AL; brother, Greg Long, Savannah, GA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Crowder.
Graveside military rites at Mount Hope Cemetery in Logansport are pending at Kroeger Funeral Home.
