Christopher A. O'Leary

Christopher A. O’Leary, age 60, Grass Creek, passed away at 12:29 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2020, in his residence.

Chris was born in Lafayette on April 14, 1959, the son of George Robert and Pearl Ann Burdalak O’Leary.

On August 14, 2006, in Indianapolis, he married Helen Kirby Davidson, who survives.

Chris was a welder employed in the maintenance department at Tyson Foods.

He enjoyed woodworking and working on cars. He and Helen bowled on the “Thunderbirds” Saturday night team at Myers Sport Bowl East in Logansport.

Surviving are sons, Eric O’Leary, Ben (Kim) O’Leary, Gregg (Jordann) O’Leary; daughter, Michelle Twigg and spouse; sisters, Ruth Ann Johnson, Pat Hensley, Kathy Hutton, Lois O’Leary, Cindy Bialek, Monica O’Leary; mother-in-law, Nannie Washam; several grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2020, at Kroeger Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to the funeral, also at the funeral home. Rev. Timothy Lee will officiate.
