Connie S. Sturgeon, age 77, Walton, formerly of Logansport, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022, in Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo.
Born in Logansport on August 7, 1944, she was the daughter of John and Agnes (Rogers) Moon.
Connie retired as a supervisor after thirty-eight years at Logansport State Hospital. A loving person, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was always available for anyone.
Connie was very Christian and was right with the Lord.
She also enjoyed social media, especially, Facebook.
Connie wanted to be remembered as a butterfly.
Surviving Connie are sons, Wes Sturgeon (Paula Gaumer), Elwood and Randy (Diane) Sturgeon, Logansport; daughter, Kimberly Sturgeon, Walton; brother, Jim (Janet) Moon, Florida; and sister-in-law, Karen Moon, Georgetown.
Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, Eric (Lindsay), Nova, Derrick, Joshua (Heather), Randy (Jacinda), Israel (Katherine), Amanda, Juan, Kya, Adan and Jasmine; 15 great grandchildren, Korbin, Kyle, Kaylene, Kagan, Kenndrew, Israella, Xavier, Brennan, Madison, Kaylyn, Scarlett, Ethan, Katie, Bryson and Braelynn; and one great-great granddaughter, Renesmay.
Connie was preceded in death by brother, John; sisters, Virginia, Shirley, Phyllis, Jerri and Sondra; and great grandson, Xyrann.
The family will have a private service.
