Cynthia A. “Cindy” Wininger, age 66, Logansport, went to be with her heavenly father at approximately 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 27, 2021, in her residence
Born May 8, 1955, in Logansport, she was the daughter of John “Jack” and Jean Zimmerman Bruck.
On May 20, 1979, in Logansport, she was married to Timothy Wininger, who survives. Tim was not only her husband but her best friend.
A 1973 graduate of Logansport High School, Cindy had been employed in the Dietary Department at Chase Center. For twenty years she was a teachers’ aide at Fairview Elementary School.
In addition to her husband, Cindy is survived by a son, Adam Wininger, and his son, Tanner, both of Logansport.
Also surviving is a sister, Sheila (Richard) Jackson, Indianapolis; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Phyllis Wininger, Diana Wilson, Jane Jones, Peggy Welborn, Vickie and George Wininger, Tracy and Bill McCartney, Jim Wininger; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Two brothers-in-law preceded her in death, Fred Wininger and Mike Wininger.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 2nd, at Kroeger Funeral Home.
The funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Friday, also at the funeral home. Rev. Ken Smith will officiate.
Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
