Daniel R. Marchal

Daniel R. Marchal, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away Friday morning, October 10, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

 He was born in Logansport on January 5, 1951, one of eight children to Jason and Ruth (Pattee) Marchal, both deceased.

 He graduated from Logansport High School in 1970. Daniel shared 49 wonderful years of marriage with his cherished wife, Betty, whom he married on August 29, 1976. Together, they built a life filled with love and beautiful memories.

Daniel worked in grounds keeping and maintenance for 28 years for the Logansport Country Club; he later retired from the Logansport Parks Department nurturing the spaces that brought joy to the community.

He loved the outdoors; fishing, gardening and growing plants from seed.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Marchal; his son, William Matthew Marchal (Johanna); his siblings Tim Marchal (Tammy), Linda Small (Morris), Connie Robbins, and Jean Jones. He is also remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother’s; Jerry Marchal, Mike Marchal and Larry Marchal.

No funeral services are planned at this time.
