Darrold Dean Patton, age 90, Logansport, passed away at 11:41 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2025, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born September 4, 1934, in Heber Springs, Arkansas, he was the son of Herman and Flora Mae Reiber Patton.
On January 21, 1989, in Logansport, he was married to Sharon Eskew, who survives.
Mr. Patton had been employed at Wilson Foods and Federal Mogul.
He was a United States Navy Veteran.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters, Lou Ann French and Barbara Butler, both of Kokomo; step-daughter and her husband, Barbara “Barbie” Barkas-Frechette (Josh Frechette), Florida; step-son, George Barkas, Logansport; and a number of grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
Preceding in death were a grandson, Jeffery Butler; step-son, Tom Barkas; and half-brother, George Buntain.
A private graveside service in Clymers Cemetery is scheduled for a later date. Military honors will be accorded at that time.
