Dorothy Beula (Sheets) Robinson

Dorothy Beula (Sheets) Robinson, 107, formerly of Frankfort, Indiana and Holland, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2020, in her residence in Hyannis, Massachusetts.

Cherished mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Dorothy was born in Frankfort, Indiana on January 28, 1913, daughter of Russell and Nellie Wilson Sheets.

On August 22, 1936 in Frankfort, she was married to Ronald F. Robinson, who preceded her in death on March 4, 2000.

Dorothy was the Administrative Assistant at Glerum Elementary School in Holland and was a member of Hope Church in Holland for over 50 years. She was a member of the Women’s Circle and Readers of Hope Church and was a volunteer in the Holland Community Kitchen and Holland Hospital. She was an expert quilter and a member of the Holland Garden Club.

At the time of her death she was a member of South Congregational Church in Centerville, Mass.

Surviving Dorothy are daughter, Peggy Jean (Michael) DiMauro, Hyannis; brother, Russell Max Sheets, Frankfort, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, one brother, and one sister.

A memorial service at the Hope Church in Holland, with Pastor Gordon Wiersma will be planned for later in the year.

Burial of ashes will be in Hopewell Cemetery (Clinton County, Indiana).
