Ellen L. (Goffinett) Williams

Ellen L. Williams, age 74, Logansport, passed away at 12:35 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2024, in Miller's Merry Manor.

Born on March 18, 1950, in Tell City, Indiana, Ellen was the daughter of the late Oscar and Stella Kellems Goffinett.

Ellen married her sweetheart, Marvin Williams, on March 30, 1968, in Monticello, Indiana. Their life was full but with many medical hardships. Yet they got through it.

While in their forties they had a son, Marcus Williams, who survives. He made their lives even brighter. Ellen and Marvin would move heaven and earth for their son.

Now their son and their cat, Johnny, are feeling the tremendous loss of Ellen's passing. Their home will be a little lonelier from now on. But there is some slight comfort in this major loss. Ellen is no longer suffering from the cancer that she has fought with strength and grace for ten long years.

She is loved dearly and will be missed every single day, but at last she is now at peace.
