Frances E. Lehmann, 93, Logansport, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021, in Miller’s Merry Manor.
Born on March 2, 1928, in Logansport, she was the daughter of John L. and Laura Gladys Lewis Gross.
On September 02, 1946, she was married to William J. Lehmann in St. Joseph Church. He preceded her in death on October 29, 1995.
Frances was a 1941 graduate of St. Joseph Grade School and a 1945 graduate of Logansport High School. She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and the All Saints Ladies Society, and was a Past Regent of the Daughters of Isabella. She also belonged to the Auxiliary of the V.F.W.
Mrs. Lehmann retired from Gen Corp in 1990, having been employed for 30 years. She enjoyed her years of delivering Meals on Wheels for Memorial Hospital.
Surviving are daughters, Barbara Streu, Diane Myers, Janet Waters, Patricia Duwel, Susan Findley, Sandra Reynolds, and Debra Brooks; sons, Allen Lehmann, David Lehmann, and Gary Lehmann. She also leaves twenty-four grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Her parents, husband, and sisters, Mary Alice Hoover, Edith Hopper Huff, and Margaret Neal Shedlock, and daughter, Marti Dennee all preceded her in death.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, July 6th, in All Saints Church.
Visitation will be in the All Saints Parish Hall from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
The VFW Post 3790 Auxiliary will conduct a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, followed by a Daughters of Isabella Service at 10:15 a.m., both in the Parish Hall.
Interment will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
