Frederick W. “Fred” Zimmerman, age 75, Logansport, passed away peacefully in his residence on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, with members of his family present.

Born August 24, 1949, in Logansport, he was the son of Donald and Roberta Rose Zimmerman.

On March 21, 1999, he was married to Rita Cooper Zimmerman, who survives.

Fred was retired from Delco Manufacturing in Kokomo.

He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Surviving are his children, Matthew Zimmerman and Laura (Seth) Finn, all of Logansport; step-sons, Brent (Christine) Wines and Trevor Cooper, all of Kokomo; a sister, Beverly Jervis, Cutler.

Also surviving are grandchildren, Natalya Reynoso and Luke Hipsher; step-grandchildren, Caleb Cooper and Gage Cooper.

Fred was proceeded in death by his first wife, Jeannette Morrissette Zimmerman. She passed away May 23, 1995.

His wishes were to be cremated.
