Hattie M. Dunn, age 93, Logansport, passed away at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2024, in her home.
Born July 26, 1930, in Lebanon, Kentucky, she was the daughter of William and Roberta Smith Adams.
On July 24, 1954, in St. Rita’s Catholic Church, Indianapolis, she was married to Aloysius “Al” Dunn, who preceded her in death April 30, 1997.
For seventeen years Hattie had been employed as head cook in the cafeteria at Logansport High School, retiring in 1995.
She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and All Saints Ladies Society. She was also a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers Auxiliary.
Surviving are her children, Theresa and Keith Binkerd, Martin and Sara Dunn, Stephen Dunn, and Monica Dunn; grandchildren, Mishayla Binkerd, Keegan Dunn, Drake Binkerd, Louis Dunn, Simeon Dunn; six great grandchildren.
Also surviving are brothers, Harold Dalton and Michael Dalton; sisters, Millie Stuart, Mary Elizabeth (Charles) Guynn, and Diane Dalton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death were a daughter, Karen Dunn; brother, Jimmy Dalton.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, at Kroeger Funeral Home, with a Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
The Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 23rd, at All Saints Catholic Church, with Father Adam Mauman officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
