Jay Dee Howell

Jay D. Howell, age 64, Logansport, passed away at 4:11 a.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne.

 Born August 7, 1958, in Logansport, Jay was the son of Paul and Genevieve Bennett Howell.

 He was married June 20, 1992, in Logansport, to Anne Sallee, who survives.

 Jay was employed at Indiana Packers.

 He loved motorcycles, especially Harleys. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, dirt track racing and the Indy 500.

 Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Mason Howell; daughter, Abby Howell; brother, Jack (Helen) Howell; sister, Jeannie Starkey, all of Logansport; several nieces and nephews.

 Jay was also survived by a mother-in-law, Avis Sallee and brother-in-law, Gregg (Debb) Sallee.

 Jay’s Life will be Celebrated at the Logansport Moose Lodge on August 27, 2022, beginning at 4:20 p.m.
