Jeffrey L. 'Jeff' Koske

Jeffrey L. “Jeff” Koske, age 79, Logansport, passed away at 12:25 a.m., on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Community Hospital, Kokomo.

Born February 1, 1942, in Logansport, he was the son of Eugene and Geneva (Townsend) Koske.

He was married to Margaret Ann “Mardi” Koons, who survives.

Jeff and Mardi are the owners of the R Bar and former owners of Fireside Restaurant and Lounge. For eighteen years Jeff had been employed at Wilson Foods.

Jeff was a 1960 graduate of Royal Center High School.

Surviving are a daughter, Laurie (Dr. Garland) Hughes, Hickory, NC; brother, Dan (Rita) Koske, Winamac; sister, Yolanda (Charles) Pugh, Logansport; grandchildren, Graham Koske Hughes and Brenham Townsend Hughes; several nieces and nephews.

Also surviving are three sisters-in-law, Judy (Doug) Bowyer, Becky (John) Tidrick, Betty Lane; brother-in-law, Bob Koons.

The funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 28th, with Rev. Ken Smith officiating, at Kroeger Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday, August 27th, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., also at Kroeger Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
