Joetta K. Wilkinson, age 70, Logansport, passed away at 6:52 a.m. Thursday, July 11th, in Richmond, Kentucky, at the home of her daughter, Wendy Ridout. She had been under hospice care.
Born May 8, 1954, she was the daughter of George Richard and Patsy Lou Baker Timmons. Her father, George “Dick” Timmons, survives. Joetta was a very caring and giving person who always looked for ways to help others in need. She loved her family dearly and also enjoyed the company of the many stray dogs and cats that found their way to her home. Faith was an important part of life and she was grounded in her beliefs.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her children, Wendy Wilkinson Ridout (Matthew), and John Wilkinson (Toni); her grandchildren, Carter Wilkinson (Madison), Ashlynn Weiss (Hunter), Cooper Wilkinson, Ella Wilkinson, Maximus Wilkinson, Maverick Wilkinson, Moses Wilkinson, and Abigail Ridout; one great-grandchild, John Carter Wilkinson, III; two brothers, Timothy Timmons (Tammy), and Daniel Timmons; a special friend, Estill Smith; as well as many other extended family and friends,.
The Funeral Service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 20, at Kroeger-Crain Funeral Home, with Father Michael Block officiating
Friends may greet the family and pay their respects until 12:00 noon Saturday, following the service.
