John “Jack” Vautaw, age 92, Monticello, passed away at 7:38 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2020, in IU Health University Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born August 22, 1927, in Kokomo, he was the son of Harry and Nell Clair Vautaw.
On October 14, 1989, in Logansport, he married Marjorie Dice Wray, who preceded him in death March 13, 2003.
Jack was a journeyman electrician employed through IBEW Local 668, Lafayette.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting and had been a golden gloves boxer.
Surviving are a son, John (Gayle) Vautaw, Walton; brother, Bill (Maryellen) Vautaw, Kokomo; several nieces and nephews.
The Memorial Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2020, at Kroeger Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Fulton Cemetery at a later date.
